If using someone elses copyright works without permission or compensation is stealing then its stealing regardless of what creativity or experience you put into it, the point of my post is to show that even Studio Ghibli has done this.
Your trying to give human artists an out by saying its not stealing as long as you put some creativity and experience into what you create even if you use copyrighted works without permission or compensation that just a way to have your cake and eat it to.
Does not work like that if something is theft then its theft.
Also you said the output of machine learning can not be creative or produce iterations in any way, you have not played around with one have you, it kinda shows by that comment.
