It is okay, even legally speaking - style isn't copyrightable. And as a non-disabled non-artist who was trained how to draw, man do I hate the process of drawing. I always wanted to put whatever I have in my head in some form to be visible to others, and AI is definitely a tool that can do that in a less rage-inducing manner than drawing. For me personally, obviously. The problem with current AI is lack of control and quality, but it got significantly better in the last couple of years.
