@ruhanverma6145 Partially agreed, I think. This is far from 'braindead', though. It's not unreasonable that people are scared of such drastic changes in an already intimidating political setting. People are also scared of not being able to differentiate between things made by AI, and things made by humans; imagine scrolling through YouTube and seeing that three out of every five or six videos is made entirely from AI. That's such a depressing thought, how people now might seem more disconnected than before, realising that half the content on their beloved world wide web isn't even made by real people. Like playing a battle royale, but the entire lobby is filled with bots. Where you'd wanted a thrilling game with friends and a challenge, all you face is a dead landscape and a program that runs about aimlessly. Besides, your examples of pottery, or some other work such as, say knitting, or sewing, don't work here because they're functional first, and artistic second. There is no real purpose behind the drawing and painting sort of art other than deriving joy from the fact that you've expressed something.There is no intent behind art but happiness at doing something by yourself. There's very little functionality behind most drawings. It exists for the sake of it. THAT being done by machines is scary. There IS a reason for pottery to be done by machines; it's a container first, and a work of art second, most of the time. So mass-producing for the people makes sense. Mass producing sweaters or something makes sense. People are cold. They'd rather have the idea that they can get a sweater whenever they want for the price of having it being done by a machine. Art being done by AI is pointless. And saddening.
