@Codestar-u1i Of course I do, I learned AI as a hands-on artist that hated the rise of AI, but unlike most people I decided to study the topic to form my own opinion. The thing is once you understand what actually goes into it, and the depth of the topic, you realize that the hate is mostly due to ignorance and fear. People shouldn't be mad at the tool, they should direct that anger towards people that misuse it. Blaming AI for those reasons is like blaming knives for stabbings, it's a completely flawed line of thinking. It's a tool, and as with any tool it can be used for good or evil. This is why I find it sad to see people like the author of the video being deeply ignorant, and acting smug when they have no idea while talking about a topic they don't understand. Even sadder to see people just looking up stuff to confirm their biases, without doing any thinking or research of their own. He legitimately thinks Midjourney is something people that work with this stuff actually use, when it's a simplified API aimed at casual users. It'd be like thinking that the removal of Windows Movie Maker would make video editors panic. It's moronic. I mean for God's sake the dude's arguments amount to namecalling and repeating stuff in a mocking tone, as if that invalidates a point. If he did any research he'd know diffusion experts hate these APIs for giving AI a bad name, and would celebrate the removal of them.
