Unlike StackOverflow, it can convert that know-how into custom made code on demand. This makes a big difference. Of course that code isn't necessarily correct or of acceptable quality, thus requiring manual adjustments, but this is also true for human-written code. And AI is still improving. First airplanes couldn't replace trains for travel, but they improved and ultimately did, to a certain extent of course.
I don't think programmers will be replaced, but programmers IN THE CURRENT SENSE OF THE WORD, now that's possible (although arguably it's not as close as some people assume).
A programmer 50 years from now may be a very different job than it is today - more of a supervisor and reviewer of code-writing AI than a coder. Think of AI as an IDE on steroids. Programming could shift to the side of "meta-programming".
