@TheMageesa I don't hate copyright law as a whole. I hate how it is allowed to be abused. No, it won't that's BS and all you have to do to realize it is to look at history... or even modernity. PLENTY of people out here creating for no profit and with no want to control what they share. It will not dry up... it will just no longer be motivated by money. It will be REAL creativity. ALL of the training data is stored in a matrix of numbers... it has memorized it... there is no file or string of text stored anywhere. I'm not taking any victory laps... Just drawing parallels to existing precedent... against people like you who seem so sure what is happening is infringement and that the companies are responsible for the actions of its users. ISPs provide users with access to the internet... and they were just recently deemed not responsible for even terminating repeat offenders at the behest of copyright holders. They are profiting... users are infringing... profit isn't the smoking gun you think it is. Yeah... but that doesn't mean corporations should be allowed to lock up copyright for damn near 100 years.
