I have been waiting for driverless trucks for decades now. It's a fantastic revolution that will be a wake-up call for people. This is undeniably a good thing, the only question is who this good will benefit, if we are smart enough to let it benefit the people or corporations.
I knew this was coming since the '90s. And I knew truck drivers would be some of the first to loose their jobs to automation at a large scale. And I know you guys are gonna be on the vanguard in the fight for who this automation should benefit. You are are the vanguard of dystopia or of new golden dawn for humanity, your choise will matter.
I suggest Google universal basic income and the short story "Manna. - two views of humanity's future". Read it and decide what future you want.
