You can get chatgpt to write prompts for you. You can also upload specific images into midjourney and ask it to generate prompts for you based on that image to get similar results. It really isn’t hard and doesn’t require skill, only some tweaking. There’s nothing rewarding in that, making art with your own hands gives you a personal feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction, building up a skill and learning and understanding it and always wanting to improve. It’s what makes us human and it’s part of everyday life. In music, architecture, the things we watched or read as children, etc etc. Some people act like artists aren’t important but art shapes and influences everything. They say it’s non essential but it surrounds us. Sure AI can create beautiful art in seconds, but like you said, only because it learned from actual artists.. however I do think AI can be a very useful tool for artists but it shouldn’t replace them, even though it already is. Thankfully my job is safe as I make sculptures and costumes in theatre, and I have used AI to aid me sometimes! So it can be used as a helpful reference tool.
