I think if people don't do anything, they will lose grip on reality. They won't have to do anything so they won't, and they will lose perspective on the way things work because they don't know how to do anything so they don't know how anything works, they have no appreciation for it, and they think erroneous things. We must stay busy. The best outlook is to offload work we are doing to a machine of ay kind including ai that can do it better or just as well but on a higher scale so we can work on other un-pursued endeavors. We didn't worry about flying, space exploration, or the stock market because we were too busy manually washing clothes and everyone growing their own crops and hunting their own food. When we became freer, we pursued technologies. Someone would see, hey, I can build a tractor that does the work of many men, and then we built other machines that didn't need the tractor and the more time we have to fiddle with things like this, the more people are freed up and things can be created and we keep finding new ways to get manual work done with less and less effort. Then our new creations require other work not previously needed like maintenance, building, selling, wealth management, banks, and now we have an entertainment industry full of people that have so much time on their hands that all they do is entertain, they never have to till the ground. Whatever it is, I think we need to keep busy.
