1:02:28 again, Soares is wrong: yes, there is a cult-like silicon valley subgroup that discusses AI in these terms. But the vast majority of academic machine learning and AI researchers don't and wouldn't even take anyone seriously who talks like that. Silicon valley talked itself into vastly overestimating the tech they are building - as they often do. One should not indulge that.
