"yo u can replace someone with 20$ subscription" the point he is not talking about is how incredibly expensive AI is. Right now every big player is spending much more than earning. They earn shitload, but they spend even more. The prices are already going through the roof for developers, we started with 20$ subs and we are already at the point of paying 200$ for the same value. The scalability of AI to that level without significantly reducing the operating cost (him mentioning 99% of losing jobs) seems like a big stretch. LLM are great for trivial things, but start giving him a lot of complex tasks in sequence and the cost explodes for you, even though its still much cheaper that it should be for those companies to be properly profitable.
