abrakkehakka1357 I’m not using “communism” in the strict Marxist sense of worker ownership. I’m talking about the irony that extreme automation may force a post-labour welfare system that capitalism historically opposed, even if ownership remains private.
I’d also add that socialism isn’t one single doctrine. There are many forms, and historically they’ve adapted to material conditions. My point isn’t strict Marxist ownership models, but that AI-driven automation could push societies toward more collectivised outcomes, whether people label that socialism or not.
