Im very glad to have found such a comment as all the others never pointed this out. This mother gave off vibes of a rather terrible mother. And yes, she is not evil or anything but she seemed very controlling and also narcissistic the way she talked, I am pretty sure this boy had severe depression, perhaps even other undiagnosed mental conditions and this AI was simply an escape from his mothers controll
