@Mag3.1415 I honestly hope you're right, and it does sound like a good counter argument. But the problem is, theres too much potential behind AI for greed to leech off of.
You more-or-less just called me out on my main issue, "hopeful for the future". And man, I wish I could be. But I've seen enough shit that it's been in my best interest to expect the worst, prepare for the worst, and experience the good things as a surprise when I'm wrong, rather than expecting the best, not preparing, and being hit with the bad shit like a truck.
This becomes a debate weather warm hopefulness or cold pragmatism is the better outlook, and honestly after doing both for a long time at different points in my life, pragmatism has won by a landslide. Really, really wish it wasn't the case tho.
