Getty images is suing AI models for scrapping their site for images for the training data set that makes these AI models work. Getty images just doesn't take whatever images on the internet in a public place they want. They actually get permission and compensate artists to license their work. The internet has never been nor should it be in an ai future a free for all where people can steal whatever they want.
