@davidholden2811 AI doesnt think. to analyze the case and applicable law it needs to be able to think, reason and pull logical conclusions. currently its nothing more than language model that simulates human speech pattern. language models cant think, art models cant create original art. ai doesnt have encyclopedic memory, it just uses data as a basis to response generation, morphing it. it can be completely wrong because it doesnt understand what it writes or says, its not aware of why humans have 5 fingers or 2 legs and is prone to making stuff up just to propose an answer to fulfill its function. in short AI is dumb. underneath it all boils down to bunch of IF conditions trained on a database.
