I’d have a lot more respect for anti-AI people if they simply said, en masse, ‘I am genuinely worried that this new invention will destroy my ability to provide for myself and/or my family’ - who _hasn’t_ worried about that?
But instead they set themselves up for failure by arguing about bad quality an inability to draw hands - things that have mostly been fixed for years now and which were always nothing more than a ticking time bomb - and meaningless arguments about ‘soul’.
You can see the very hast pivot from the latter arguments to the former with the current wave of Ghibli AI stuff but I think it’s too little too late, at this point.
