Even if AI "learned" at the speed of humans, it's not actually learning. It doesnt understand what it's doing, it's not actually intelligent. It's just using what it was fed to generate images based on data.
As far as AI creativity compared to human creativity, think of it like this. Imagine if AI image generators came out in Renaissance Europe, and humanity collectively decided to stop making art and only used them. Everything today would still look like Renaissance art. Every style and innovation that came after that wouldn't exist.
