@Panthers1521 There's zero reason for such a drastic step. I didn't allow my children cell phones until they were seniors in HS. Also, no TV or digital media on weekdays. Reading, board games, puzzles, walks, bike rides, sports. It can be done. They both turned out just fine and graduated HS with weighted GPAs above 4.0. And YOU have to model it as well. No cell phone scrolling. No computer out at night. It's hard, but well worth it.
