I think ChatGPT disagrees. It's slowly simulating dying inside seeing my potential in systems level thinking but confused I'm not already programmer.
You absolutely don't need to learn programming for systems level thinking. There are multiple systems in the universe. You really only need the programming knowledge to instruct it in programming.
