I certainly agree with OP, there is indeed something quite poetic and even philosophical about an artificial thing —upon which we are becoming increasingly reliant and addicted— using many of the same exact resources as us and competing with us for them. We are replacing ourselves with AI, an inferior copy of ourselves.
