@nathanlieu6840 we could literally replace 80% of jobs in the next 10 years which would boost our economy so crazy. All those people having free time now and money to spend (guaranteed basic income high enough to life comfortably paid by those who profit from this system the most.. so they still get richer but less fast) and then you have yourself a nice sci-fi utopia.
But no, poor people will literally vote against Automatisation and basic income because blacks/gays/lazy/even poorer/woman or whoever they hate would get some too.
You need education for democracy and sadly the first world is working actively against this.
