Plus, AI's smarter than the average human(for the most part, not counting false information since that's us doing that), which does have use in chatbots, but art has some issues with intelligence. Intelligence leads to complex things which, when paired with something as simple(as a concept) as A.I. is a huge problem. If you tell something with the entire power of the internet, and with it, virtually all current human knowledge, to create art, it creates a "masterpiece" that, while it may look decent, doesn't have meaning and thus, isn't art.
Art is meant to show emotion, which is why A.I. can't get it right. It looks at a picture, draws it with a different style, and is done, not realizing the importance of the original style.
