@monsterbox6 For Millennia, Human artists were typically "trained" on imitating the Past Masters and their expected styles, with relatively SLOW "evolution" of styles .
The artists themselves, (as simply cogs in a royal or clerical machine), remained largely anonymous until some 600 years ago.
They did however, just like AI, need a human or institutional "prompt" to work on.
