Within a couple of weeks of this panel discussion Anthropic withheld the release of Mythos, its latest version of AI. Why, because they found it would be too dangerous and in the wrong hands would open the world up to economic collapse because of all the security flaws it could find in financial and govt systems. We've already reached the danger zone, because the one thing AI excels at, computer systems and programming, is critical to the world economy in a world that is dependent on these systems.
