Democratizing the field and lowering the barriers to enter isn't an argument.
I don't get to be an author if I don't know how to write well, I don't get to be a successful mathematician if I can't make new groundbreaking mathematical discoveries, I don't get to be an artist if I don't put in the time to learn the craft.
Imho, all AI generated creative works should be branded as such and shouldn't be eligible for copyright until they're severely altered. That would at least prevent some people to try to make a quick buck off work that isn't theirs (such as an individual using an AI that was trained on copyrighted images)
