As someone who doesnt use ChatGPT personally.
I only recommend to use ChatGPT to assist you once you already know the material. In that self contained aspect. Its great. Not so great when you haven't put in the time to learn to put effort into learning the material and auto pilot.
ChatGPT is prone to hallucinate and when you aren't learning critical thinking skills early on. That adds up. Also way too easy to lose discipline and just get you to start looking up answers the moment you feel you dont get it immediately. Thats what happened to the caller since they admitted using ChatGPT.
