The goal is for AI and robots to do literally all forms of work. Menial and creative, industrial and artistic, everything.
To make a world where humans do not work anymore; where jobs aren't a thing, and if you want something you can get it from a machine, whether it's a toaster, a car, or a painting.
Then we can engage with our creative pursuits making what we actually want to make, not what someone paid us to, because we don't need the paycheck.
