@SuperMimi-nb Theft is when the original owner doesn't have their thing anymore. AI is transformative (legally speaking). What that means is it generates *similar* things (not true copies). To put things in perspective, an AI model (e.g. a .safetensors file) is just a huge array of numbers. I mean that *literally*: It's just a huge array of numbers! There's not even any conditional logic inside it. If we "ban AI" we're basically making it illegal for people to have a file of numbers.
