You know artists aren't all rich right?
I actually know rednecks who are artists. Art isn't a traditional job, it can be for working class folk all the way to the rich.
Honestly i cannot deny the industrialization of products, but i think you need to see that if you don't call for help, you won't get help.
That chant you describe, it isn't what artists said, it's what people who support AI said. Those who support industrialization over real humans to gain money. People did fight, and they did succeed in some places.
There are still farms, there are still people making independent businesses, industrialization didn't kill working class jobs from the 90s, but it almost did.
Thats the key, even the smallest ounce of fighting back left an impact, and fighting against the ones industrializing jobs isn't just gonna help artists but also you.
Your enemy isn't artists, your enemy is the rich men forcing this industrialization to take everyone's jobs.
