It isn't actually making any problems. The art made using AI can only be as good as the operator's skills. It's more likely going to enhance artists' work - see how Jazza's video explained it, as well as check out Daromeon's use of AI for Kengan Omega. Justin Roiland used AI for background posters in his recent game, and BoroCG has some interesting takes of his own on how AI can be useful for artists.
It's a useful tool in the hands of an artist, and a fun toy in the hands of people who were too intimidated (or possibly disabled) to make art.
