@lukassmida4885 I agree it could find ways to destroy the world if it wanted to, but why would it want to? If there is no emotion in AI, then what would motivate it to do such acts? Heck, we should fear Elon more than AI by your ogic that super intelligence is inherently dangerous.
I disagree, I think the more intelligent, the more empathy and realization of interconnectedness and dependency. Even if AI becomes autonomous, why would it destroy Earth? It could easily find a planet with the resources it needs and survive there where we cannot. If resources are valuable, then if nothing else, humans are a valuable resource it would utilize rather than destroy. We all benefit from symbiosis with AI.
Fear would be the only motivation to eliminate the humans which could turn AI off, but since AI does not feel fear, you are left with logic.
