@Slowfella2010 Copyright infringment legally and morally isn't theft. It's theft when you take something from somebody else.
I've been opposed to copyright even before AI was a thing.
If somebody uploads data, they make it accessible to everybody. There is no reason why you shouldn't do with the data whatever you want. You own the copy. Nobody lost anything.
The exception is that if you explicitly agreed to somebody that you won't do anything with the data. Then you would break the trust to this person, and you might be considered a person who's not trustworthy in general. So in this case, you would act immoral.
Can you follow me so far? Does this make sense to you? Do you already disagree?
Also I think my point makes sense, and you just don't understand it. Maybe I wasn't able to get it across well. Could you please try to clarify what doesn't make sense?
