Ok, as I continued the video i moved from giving this guy the benefit of the doubt, to him being completely misleading for the sake of notoriety? Or something? In this context saying "ai is better than us at chess" is straight up intentionally misleading. Chess bots are pure computation and math the same way logic gates power your PC. The transformer model family is probabilistic. If you ever watch a video of someone playing against chatgpt in chess, it will constantly make illegal moves with pieces that you've already even captured. Chess bots have been around since 1960s... So this was just completely dishonest.
Really disappointed with this video, was hoping for real insight, but got sam altman, elon musk level AI doomposting
