@CramcrumBrewbringer yeah. 4% of its workforce or something and virtually all corporate (not engineers) positions. The reasons reported have nothing to do with AI.
I have two friends who work at Amazon, one of whom is at a fairly high level (I don’t remember the level # but I believe his salary is on the order $500k/year). They’ve also explained to me that the narrative around Amazon layoffs is totally overhyped.
But you don’t need special information… you can just like… google this information.
