i mean, it feels really dishonest when people call ai art something they made, cause they dont actually undesrtand the process of making drawn art. But, honestly, i feel like calling ai generated images "ai art" is disrespectful to actual ai developers. Most people who use ai generators dont know shit about coding. I had a teacher who claimed he "programmed chatgpt models" when in reality he simply told them how to act in the prompts, dishonest. The true art in that is the programming work, and i doubt that someone thats too lazy to draw a few lines would care to undesrtand the processes that go into developing a machine like that. i just dislike how the most popular generative models have such an enormous waste of energy and are readily available to any dumbass with an undecessary prompt
