@jeremymanson1781the change was from what I'd agree is a neutral expression to a subtle smile. She's arguing that while you or an algorithm could note the change to a smile, you still would not have a significant "read" of emotion. It's interesting but as said above still seems inconclusive.
If an algorithm can register a smile, can it then attempt to find factors 'driving the smile'? Is that reading emotions?
