There are still two gaps to fill. First is power as AI models cosume way more power for even menial tasks like generating 100 words. And second is after certain limit AI stops improving that much and asks for monumental amount of hardware resources. These problems will take a long time to be resolved. So, AGI is at least 50-100 years away to say the least.
