Raw LLM Responses

​@pennstationofficial​@pennstationofficial That's all fine and reasonable to say if you don't seethe that I'm looking at pretty and funny pictures autogenerated for me. But, I need to point out that if the guy who made modern art that's like a plastic hotdog nailed to a canvas and sold it for 5 million dollars is an artist, then I, too, am an artist. There used to be this huge reluctance in defining what "art" is. A toilet is art. Whiskers drawn on a face for holoween is art. But the moment you prompt a computer to generate you something cool, that's not art? I don't claim it took me a lot of effort. I don't claim I maticulously drew every line. But I still plucked it from the LLM and used it as I saw fit. It's not impressive, sure, but you guys are so weird about this point. And no, I don't care about the sense of improvement or pride in my mistakes and choices or care about making it if that's not what I like. I don't even feel that way, really, about the socially accepted form of art I do partake in: writing. I hate looking at my old works. I never share my stories, because they disgust me. I even hate my current works. I just write for pleasure. If I took the time to go through the endless google docs, it would feel bad if I noticed I improved at it because it would be a testiment to all the time I wasted pretending and escaping from my life rather than living it or dealing with the consequences of my actions and repressed dreams. But that's just me. If you enjoy drawing your art and improving, who am I to say you're doing it wrong? It's just not why I make art.
