I don't believe AI is going to work all that well. The complex systems needed to grow food, for example, will have a hard time working with other AI systems to grow food.
For example, Arizona grows a lot of our veggies. It requires a lot of water, fertilizers, pesticides, or whatever. We know the Southwest is running low on water. We have large cities that need water. Our military base might need water.
We have limited water. How is AI going to solve this?
Think about the fertilizers needed. There are different ideas about how to feed plants. All AI can do is read articles and find info on what to use. They have no experience in actually growing food. I can tell you as a master gardener that it is not that easy to figure out how to grow food.
Also, how is AI going to work with the rest of the world to get the products they need to make a product? Are we going to try and put robots all over the world?
I just don't see AI running all our systems. I think they will be a tool for a long time. Creating a world wide system is just pie in the sky.IMO
