@DeonTain If you've ever done photography you know the work behind getting a good shot takes more than just pressing a button. Furthermore you don't own the subject, you own the photo. If I don't consent to my image being used in a photograph there are a litany of things I can do to get it removed or even reparations.
Using an AI to generate a character you wish to copyright falls into that territory, and when we're talking about the art itself one has no more agency of the image's creation than one would with an image search.
