I like him, just look at the revolutionary beneficial uses of AI. De danger we're heading towards is because of the unchecked competitive AI race. He didn't start that. Also, many people worked on AI, including American scientists. Like David Rumelhart, who I believe also was a good, highly intelligent man, as is professor Hinton.
