you can turn off the "improve the model for everyone" settings in most llms, so that your chats arent used for training data. i think to tell people to stop using it if its the only resource they have isnt good. its good to be aware of the potential consequences, however therapy is unaffordable and inaccessible for a lot of people so a chatbot may be their best option in a time of crisis. and hotlines arent always helpful either. there were points in time ive had to call them just for the person on the other end to be unhelpful and rude and make me feel even worse. tl;dr be aware but i think the black and white thinking that ai is the spawn of satan isnt a good mentality to have when it can be used to help people in need without any other options
