I struggle to see how this will play out in the developing world. I live in South Africa where much of the population is rural and poor and living off the land without even basic technology. I can see how technology has robbed them of what used to be a livelihood (their products are no longer needed as they're produced more cheaply, transport is easier for larger farmers/corporations with access to technology) but I cannot see how the subsistence farmer will be replaced by AI??
