What really bugs me about the medical industry is that they do not want people getting CAT scans on their own to track changes in their body. This data would assist AI and the industry, but the medical industry actively discourages this; why? Because if you get a private scan and find something, then the medical industry must go through the trouble to identify what it is, and most of the time what it is, is not a problem. However this kind of head in the sand approach to medicine has doubtlessly led to thousands, maybe millions of people that get a late stage diagnosis becuase major symptoms are used to drive the need for a scan instead of getting regulars scans for tracking purposes.
