I really sympathize with 2d artists using art replicas is not right, i mean before AI that would have been without doubt a wrong doing and who is copying art will be easily sued so what makes it different now with AI generating art replicas?! but what do you think about generating art as 3d rendered images with describing in your prompt the lighting mood the level of details, soft warm or hard shadows, describing reflections, rim lights or highlights and all other details you want to generate in a 3d rendered image, does that also considered as stealing art? i mean this link here is an AI generated image while i was trying midjourney when they started beta testing:
