The problem is they are not going to use it to cure disease or make human life better. A small group of wealthy people are in a race to control it simply to get rid of what they call the human tax(there labor force). Look at what they are already doing with. They have made the sora app just to have you spend more time on the internet watching mundane videos. Profit over people just a faster more efficient way.
