Design is not just a creative industry but also one where we employ empathy and psyhology. While is true Mid Journey (and similar) can replace "some" tasks I really think humans will still be needed to overlook design projects. I believe AI will eliminate junior jobs not leading ones. Junior positions are rigged anyway, with some companies expecting a university graduate to have 1 or 2 years experiece
