I'm very pessimistic nowadays about the affects of AI art towards artists. I will surely continue to draw and make art but our role as an artist is further degraded in terms of value. Graphic designers, illustrators, etc. Its saddening but not much else we can do about it feeling. AI art is kinda ok to do for fun or the memes, but as an artist, that looming feeling of your hard work potentially be stolen and used as training data is just destructive. I had this fear pre-AI where people can just literally take your art and repost it as yours or make money out of it - but now with AI, its just maddening.
