AI and robots for food delivery might be used in downtown areas where its too busy too drive.
Restaurant can load the bot with the food and send it to a pick up hub for drivers so they dont have to drive downtown.
Bots only have a small range anyways, and that way they can be taken care of if they get knocked over too because their close.
Drivers keep jobs, more restaurants get their food out and AI/bots industry booms...ez win.
